Kapyundi (‘little glacier’ in the Gwani tongue) is a Gwani warrior, the son of Yenani and Myauri in Ultima VII Part Two.[1]
Description[edit]
He was part of a hunting party of five attempting to kill an ice dragon for its blood to save his sister Neyobi’s life.[2] The dragon bested them, slaughtering three of the hunters. Only Kapyundi and the hunt leader Gilwoyai managed to escape.[2]
On their way back to the village they encountered the Avatar. Kapyundi told the Avatar of the disastrous results of their hunt and felt certain of a safer entrance to its lair.[3] He also felt ashamed of his failure, since the dragons had eaten his compatriot’s bodies, destroying any hope of a proper burial.[4]
Kapyundi is later murdered by Hazard when he slaughters almost all of the Gwani population.[5]
