Two guards could be found guarding the jail of the Yewen High Court during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The two burly guards would bluntly ask if approaching the Stranger was surrendering for penance. Should the hero have previously spoken honestly to Judge Talfourd, the adventurer would have been given instruction to submit to incarceration in the felon's cell. The two men would be happy to conduct such a sentence – albeit with a word of caution as to the criminal who dwelt there.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), these two guards can be identified with the guards in the same room, but only in the Japanese original, whereas they were omitted from the English localization.
