Two poor beggars could be found incarcerated in Yew at the time of Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
These unnamed penitents could be found inside the cell for miscreants in the Court of Justice. They would claim, if asked, that they were well treated, but that they had sinned by stealing chests in towns, and killing non-evil creatures. They could also direct the hero to the cell for felons, warning that its inhabitant was a mean, nasty, ugly villain.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV, a single beggar inhabits a cell in the Yewen prison, asking for alms that he might use the money to rebuild his life.[2]
