Grugorr is the chief of the Haakur Tribe in Savage Empire.

Description

Grugorr confided in the Avatar that his main job was to protect his tribe from the Jukari Tribe and the giant spiders which constantly harassed his people. He felt that the Jukari were stupid for building their home so close to a live volcano, and he did not try to hide his hatred towards them. His main fear was the spiders, which had killed many of his people. His son Krukk had gone to the spider cave to defeat the spiders, but had not returned. Grugorr was sure he had perished, but still wished to have his son's shield returned, recommending the hero use torches to burn out the spiders' webs.

When the Avatar returned the shield, Grugorr was willing to unite against the Myrmidex menace.

The Haakur chief is named Grugorr. He's a strong man and very much a nationalist: He has only contempt for most other tribes. At the time I visited him, he'd just lost his son Krukk to a local nest of large, dangerous spiders, so he was not the most cheerful of conversationalists.
