Garam is a bold fighter living at Serpent's Hold during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The valiant warrior could be found in a small chamber in the western part of the castle, where he would talk to the Stranger about the Principle of Courage, claiming that it could make kings out of knaves. Should the hero have learned from Sister Antos that he knew of the Bell of Courage, Garam would reveal that the artifact lay at the bottom of a deep well at sea found at lat-N'A" long-L'A".[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Garam can be identified with the beardless mage in the same room. Since Sister Antos gives all the necessary information about the Bell, the mage reveals the recipe for the Jinx spell.[2]
