Forum:Armour or Armor?
I know this has been brought up before, but I only mention it because we are still inconsistent throughout the wiki. The interchangeable use of the British and the American spellings of armour and armor, to me, is jarring. Now, myself as a Canadian, I can't help but want to use the British spelling, and I know that at least 2 of our major editors are native to Europe. Still, I think perhaps we should consistently go with the American spelling in this case since it is the spelling most commonly employed in Ultima games and manuals, and I'd hazard to guess the spelling most commonly used by visitors. Even if we go with the British spelling, I'd hope Fenyxbot could set things straight so that only one spelling is used throughout the wiki. Dungy 18:53, 28 October 2010 (PDT)
- If you mean me as one of the editors, then keep me out of this. I'm German and have zero sensibility for the American-British English thing, finding the whole attion to it ridiculous. For my part, I write it armour, since that's the way it is spelled in the manuals.--Tribun 18:59, 28 October 2010 (PDT)
