Dantes is an outcast who had been taken prisoner by Tyball. He appears in Ultima Underworld.

Description

He came to look for treasure in the lower levels, but ended up being enslaved by the evil mage, who was enraged that someone dared to touch the treasures he saw as his.

The Avatar freed him from Tyball's prison on the seventh level of the Abyss. Dantes was concerned that without provisions, the Avatar would quickly die in this hell. However, when asked for help, Dantes revealed an escape route he had once dug. A route that was useless for him, since it ended at the lava chasm and thanks to a bad leg he did not dare to jump.

Later, Garamon rescued him when the volcano erupted.
