Damsel is a small druid living in Paws during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Damsel could be found at the market, where she was buying rations, potentially for a trek into one of the dungeons. She would recommend Max's ware to the Stranger if asked, and would discuss with the hero their utility when journeying into the depths. Should the adventurer press further, Damsel would go on to reveal that Castle Britannia contained a secret entrance to one of the major dungeons.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- Should the Stranger admit having never braved a dungeon, she will call the timid adventurer a wimp.
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Damsel can be identified as a woman just outside the same location, who gives the same information. She adds that her departed lord had attempted to brave the dungeon Hythloth seven years prior.[2]
