Two guards could be found standing watch over the Yewen High Court during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
These tall women took pride in the just proceedings of Talfourd's courtroom and would explain to the Stranger that they felt a good life was inspired by love and guided by knowledge. They would ask if the hero had business in the court and if not, they would sternly caution against causing any disruption.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- The guards quote humanist author Bertrand Russell's essay What I Believe, when they say that "The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge".
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV, these two guards can be identified with two guards in the same location, but they were removed from the English localization.[2]
