Clint is a shipwright in Britain.
Description[edit]
Clint had spent his youth as a sailor, cruising the Britannian ocean. Nostalgic for what he considered a more barbarous and exciting world now past, Clint expressed dissatisfaction with the peaceful climate of his age, complaining about the death of adventure in light of modern stability. The aged shipwright, if allowed, would launch into blustery hyperbole regarding the coming death of all monsters and the union of all men in brotherhood under the Fellowship – opining firmly that it was "always the best thing to make thine own way in the world and not listen to what thou art told to believe."[1]
Should the Avatar inquire after the Crown Jewel, a ship which had proven a major lead with regards to the murder of Christopher in Trinsic, the old man would recall that it had not been in the city for a long time – a contradiction of what was recorded regarding its intended course from the City of Honor.[2]

Trivia[edit]
- In the SNES-port of Ultima VII, Clint has a thick accent, stereotypical of sailors. He claims to have been a dock worker and shipwright for the past forty years and will make brief mention of his distrust of the Fellowship. He is able to sell the Avatar the Magic Boat for a sum of 3000 gold coins.[4]
