Cleese is the parrot of Fritz.
Description[edit]
The Avatar found him in the throne room of the palace of the Nahuatla Tribe during Savage Empire. At first Cleese acted like any other parrot. However, after some probing, Cleese parroted the argument that had happened between Fritz and the mad Dr. Spector, gave some information on the ancient city of Kotl, and warned the Avatar that right now, Dr. Spector was insane and had plans to conquer the world.[1]

Another feature of the palace is the very vocal parrot named Cleese. He's usually to be found flapping around the throne room and dropping little editorial comments on the heads of visitors. He's an island of intellect compared to some of the Nahuatla.

- Cleese is named after John Cleese of Monty Python fame. John Cleese was famous for a skit involving a dead Norwegian Blue parrot.
