Brass buttons

The brass buttons can be acquired by fighting the minions of Minax and are essential for the Stranger to complete the game. It appears in Ultima II.

Description

This important item identified the Stranger as an aviator and allowed use of one of the several modern transports that could be found in the early days of Sosaria; bi-plane. It was also required to accelerate the airplane to flying speed. Once replaced, however, this button would break once flight was achieved.

Pirates often steal important items such as this and the Stranger frequently found they were acquired then disappeared for this reason.
