Aleyn is a child found imprisoned in the town of Yew in Ultima V.

Shortly before the events of Ultima V, his father Mario had neglected to inform the authorities that he could only give 40% of his earnings to charity (50% being the law). The authorities tortured Mario before placing him in the town square stocks alongside Aleyn, who was charged with failing to report his father. Both were left to starve.[1]
When the Avatar found him, Aleyn was already so weak that he was in serious danger of dying. The Avatar could choose to jimmy Aleyn's locks and allow him to escape the city.

In Ultima V: Lazarus, the Avatar can choose to free Aleyn by paying his and his father's fine of 2010gp to Judge Dryden.[2]
