Information about the keys of Ultima Forever.
Gold Keys[edit]
- Acquired through leveling and in the Shop
- Can be found in chests as Rare items
- Allows repair of all equipment
- Can be used to unlock skill slots
- Allows extra inventory slots
- When opening a chest will result in the following:[1]
- A Decent chance at receiving an Uncommon gear item OR an Almost-As-Decent chance at getting a Rare item OR A Very Small chance at receiving an Epic gear item
- A Very Good chance at receiving a Rare gear item OR a Small chance at receiving an Epic gear item
- A Very Good chance at receiving a Common quest item
- A Very Good chance at receiving an Uncommon quest item
- A Pretty Good chance at receiving a Rare quest item
Silver Keys[edit]
- Acquired through leveling and daily rewards
- Can exchange 18 bronze keys for 6 silver keys
- Can be found in chests as Uncommon items
- Required to repair equipment
- Can be used to temporarily unlock skill slots (for one dungeon)
- When opening a chest will result in the following:[1]
- A Very Good chance at receiving an Uncommon gear item OR a Small chance at receiving a Rare gear item
- An OK chance at receiving a Common quest item
- An OK chance at receiving an Uncommon quest item
- A Small chance at receiving a Rare quest item
Bronze Keys[edit]
- Acquired from daily rewards
- Acquired from defeated enemies
- Allows fast travel
- Can be found in chests as Common items
- When opening a chest will result in the following:[1]
- A Very Good chance of receiving a Common gear item OR a Small chance to receive an Uncommon gear item
- An OK chance at receiving a Common quest item
- A Small chance at receiving an Uncommon quest item
Trivia[edit]
- The exchange rate for bronze to silver keys changed a couple times during development; upon initial soft release 15 bronze for 5 silver. In the July 3, 2013 patch, the exchange rate was modified to 18 bronze for 6 silver.
- Quest Items can ONLY be obtained from chests in dungeons, not towns/cities.
