The Haunting Inn is an inn in Skara Brae, the city of Spirituality. This establishment appears during Ultima V and Ultima VI.

History[edit]

After the closure of The Inn of the Spirits after the end of the Quest of the Avatar, this new inn was founded. During Ultima V, was run by Rogi. During that time, the inn was noted for the magnificent view from its rooms over the island. Later in Ultima VI, the inn was run by Gideon and his wife Marta, and it was famous for its fine wine and its real ghost.

The inn had to have closed some time before the fire that destroyed the town, since no mention of it was made, the Keg o' Spirits having taken its place.

Lore[edit]

Inns are a source of pride for several Britannian townes and villages. They are comfortable and reasonable and usually provide a good, healing night’s rest. The inn in the island city of Skara Brae even boasts a magnificent view.
The most annoying thing about Skara Brae is that book you find all over the place. Maybe it is the city of spirituality, but I don’t want to be reading about the mantra every time I stay over there for a good honest night’s rest. I think Gideon’s behind leaving those books all over the town.
