The Shrines of Virtue provide several important game functions.
- Visiting a Shrine and activating the Altar will provide a buff that increases the corresponding Virtue that you earn by 25% for one hour.
- After activating a shrine, that same shrine cannot be reactivated for a period. This cooldown period is unique to each shrine.
- You can see all of your Achievements when you visit a Shrine.
