Ultima VII Part Two
Location: Fawn

Zulith is the Chancellor of Fawn on Serpent Isle. He appears in Ultima VII Part Two. It is revealed that he is quite dangerous.

Description[edit]

When the party moved around in Fawn and spoke with the population, they noticed that a man was following them. Demanding to know what this meant, Zulith denied that he was following them. While talking with him he spoke about the Oracle of Fawn, the Great Captains and the situation of Fawn in general. He also mentioned that during his office hours, he would exchange money.

Although Voldin and Kylista seemed to use Zulith as their puppet, people warned the Avatar that Zulith was pretty independent and actually the third player in the power game in Fawn. However, in the following trial, he got out of the whole affair without any consequences.

Later when Mad Iolo invaded Fawn, Zulith tried to flee the city but was killed by the possessed companion before he could reach the drawbridge. The Avatar found a note on his body where he spoke about the hidden treasure room in the palace and mocked Lady Yelinda, saying that she had the intelligence of a fish.

Lore[edit]

I made my way to the palace and asked for an audience with Lady Yelinda. A rather unsavory character named Zulith introduced himself as Lady Yelinda's advisor and asked my name and business. He noted this dutifully and scurried off. He returned rather quickly and told me that Lady Yelinda offered her greetings, but could not be disturbed. He said I would have to come back another time.

Trivia[edit]

  • Zulith is the worst moneychanger on Serpent Isle and his fee with 3% is outrageously high. For more information, see Serpent Isle exchange rate.
  • A search of Zulith's apartments to the immediate west of the palace will turn upon an awakening potion and 20 filari.
