Volcanic ash (VA) is a reagent that is in use on Pagan.

Uses and History[edit]

Pagan[edit]

This ash is produced during a volcanic eruption. It is not to be confused with sulfurous ash as found in Britannia. The Sorcerers do use the volcanic ash as a reagent to invoke fire within one of their spells. Due to the fact that Morgaelin was a massive volcano, it is rich in deposits of ash that can be harvested without much hassle for spellcasting purposes.

Lore[edit]

The refuse of the volcano has the property of creating the initial spark of Fire.
The simplest reagent is volcanic ash. Its purpose in Sorcery is to represent the spark that brings flame.

Trivia[edit]

  • Volcanic ash can have many different hues. The one on Pagan is almost black, while most earth volcanoes produce a very light-grey ash.
