Ultima Online: The Second Age is currently the only freeshard in existence dedicated to replicating the 1999 'Second Age' era of Ultima Online. This is an ongoing work, as no changes can be made without first verifying the existence of certain features and mechanics during the era from various reliable sources.
Features[edit]
- Mechanical accuracy in line with the final patch of the T2A era prior to UO:R.
- Stealing, full looting and player killing.
- Criminal system the way it was in 1999, with red, blue and grey flags.
- Statloss penalties for murderers.
UOSA strives to recreate what many considered to be the 'golden era' of Ultima Online, and generally appeals to those who disliked the introduction of Trammel that followed soon after.
