The Tomb of Kings is where the gargoyles for centuries have buried their deceased kings.

Description

The tomb is located in the Realm of the Gargoyles, just south of the Shrine of Singularity and nect to the sacrificial altar. The tomb is protected by a difficult to understand system of levers that control the gates and force fields. However, visiting it without the caretakers is not advised, as the tomb beside its protections against looters consisting of numerous force fields and magically locked doors, is also infested with countless beasts, even including the dreaded silver serpents.

Trivia

• The Tomb of Kings is not essential for finishing Ultima VI.
• In order to enter the central burial chamber, six switches have to be set correctly. They are in two sets of three in the most western and eastern rooms. The western set has to be set to down, down, up. The eastern set has to be set to up, up, down. Then the northern chamber can be entered. In the game that means only one switch in the eastern chamber has to be set correctly.
