Time Travel
Time Travel comes with Martian Dreams. It is 24 pages long. In real-life, Warren Spector authored the book while in-game his alter ego, Dr. Spector, wrote it.
Description[edit]
The book plays a role in the game, as it is the very book that Dr. Spector and the Avatar receive in the beginning from Chsheket, which convinces them to go on that adventure. The book is written from Dr. Spector's perspective and holds many of his thoughts and useful information for the Avatar's journey and about the companions on the journey. If someone also isn't familiar with celebrities of the late 19th century, then the book is highly important, as it holds hints, how these people can help the Avatar’s quest on Mars.

Other Editions[edit]
The book got a cover on simple plain-white paper when the game was re-released by GT Interactive, but stays the same content-wise. The book also was faithfully translated for the Korean and Chinese (Taiwan) versions of the game. At least the Korean edition combined the two manual books together.

Trivia[edit]
- Besides the obvious removal of the game's title on the book seen in the introduction, there are a number of differences between the cover of real book and the one seen in the introduction, especially in the text spacing and the ornamental border around the title.
