The Talking Door is one of the more bizarre sights on the sixth level of the Abyss. He appears in Ultima Underworld.
Description[edit]
When the Avatar tried to open a door on that level, the door started to talk and insult the hero. As it turned out, a mage had become so annoyed by his fellow people asking how to cast the spell Sheet Lightning, that he had turned himself into a door to escape their questions.
However, that had helped little to end his annoyance, as people still asked him. He eventually revealed the spell to the Avatar just to be left alone.
