So, why was the addition of the MD intro cinematic undone? Do we have a policy here regarding video links, which is basically all I added? I did put it under the "spoilers" section for a reason. No reason was given in the edit that removed it. --Polygoncount 23:23, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, good that you reminded me! I removed it to move it to a move convenient place on the page but then totally forgot while doing the other stuff. Thanks, I fixed my oversight.--Tribun 23:41, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, ok, cool -- I was like, "Oh, snap! I just got negated!" ;) --Polygoncount 23:57, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

Possible trivia[edit]

Wasn't this the first Ultima game to require installation to the hard drive in order to play? Even Ultima 6 and Savage Empire allowed you to play off the floppies, as I recall, though it was kinda crazy to try and play them that way instead of a hard drive install. But MD just flat out wouldn't play off floppies. That's how I remember it, if anyone can confirm this maybe it would make a good trivia entry. 76.232.153.53 04:17, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Title Accuracy[edit]

This is gonna sound like nitpicking - but while we obviously all referenced Martian Dreams as "World of Ultima 2", its proper title was however "Ultima World of Adventures 2: Martian Dreams". Perhaps we might not go as far as renaming the page, but it should probably get referenced by its proper title in the Article itself, or at the very least a trivia bit about the inconsistency in titles --Sergorn 21:16, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm.. most of the pages don't use their full official names as their article's name, something that may be wrong. But leaving the article name apart for now, the correct name should be used in the leading paragraph of the article, probably puttin in parentheses the "common" though not official name as an aka.--Sega381 21:48, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
Redirect pages with all the alternate titles can fix everything, too. I've done this for some of the historical figures from Martian Dreams, such as Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain, etc. --Polygoncount 23:01, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
Interestingly, the Wikipedia article does call the game "Ultima: Worlds of Adventure 2: Martian Dreams" and so does Mobygames. It would make more sense to do so as well as well. In the meantime I'll rephrase the first paragraph. --Sergorn 09:10, August 20, 2010 (UTC)
I think that eventually, all articles should have their official names. Redirects should exist for all the alternate, common, or non-official names.--Sega381 05:06, August 21, 2010 (UTC)
