This article could probably use a small blurb of his role in Ultima IX ... (I know, I know, I hate it too.) JubalHarshaw 18:51, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

At the top of this article s a minor contradiction to the Batlin article and to another paragraph of this article here. On both of these other locations Batlin's death is blamed on the Banes with the Guardian merely watching and not helping him, while here it is claimed that it was the Guardian who killed Batlin at the Wall of Lights (the snuff out thing when there's a connection to the void thing. .91.37.142.168 17:43, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Is "avatarhood" a proper noun? Should the 'a' really be capitalized? If, for instance, someone else were to achieve the required enlightenment, they too would achieve avatarhood, but they couldn't be the "Avatar" since the moniker is already taken. Analysis of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"
"You better watch out" <- No comment necessary
"You better not cry" <- Best not to show weakness
"Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice" <- Fellowship recruiting purposes -- Fenyx4 04:37, May 5, 2010 (UTC)

But none of the elves of Britannia rally around him, the glimpse of his realm at the end of U8 does not even closely resemble the North Pole, and, take it from me, he is most unCanadian. AngusM 05:04, May 5, 2010 (UTC)

Zealan deity trivia[edit]

Is there a reference for this? Where was it hinted and by whom? --Terilem 00:28, 24 January 2012 (PST) Richard Garriott was said to have revealed the origin of Guardian in a gaming convention in year 1993, little before U8 was out. Have heard this mentioned elsewhere as well but if its too vague, understandable that it won't fit here unless more proof/lost material surface someday. --Time Lord 05:56, 24 January 2012 (PST)
