I attempted to make some changes to the top of this page, but this instantly broke the sectional formatting for the other gates. In fact, the formatting is broken even if you DO NOTHING, then preview.

What gives?

Is this with the Rich Text Editor turned on? If so, I think people here tend to recommend editing in Plain Text to avoid issues like this. It's a bit buggy, apparently. --Terilem 04:26, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

This was with or without the RTE on; I managed to fix it with a line break between the horizontal line and the "= = =" section starters. Good lesson for future reference!! --polygoncount

Re: Time Games: "A result of Minax meddling with time itself to destroy Earth, they vanished after the end of the game." Is this really where they came from? The Ultima 2 manual seems to imply they were a result of the gem breaking, like the way UO formed. Minax seemed to take advantage of the phenomena to take over Legends but is it ever indicated she made the gates herself? --Anarch Cassius 12:16, 19 December 2010 (PST)

Time doors aren't silver or moongates[edit]

Reading the U2 manual, it doesn't talk about "moongates" and the only colour it gives for them is blue. And since U2 doesn't even have any moons, I'm wondering if it even belongs here.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 15:26, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

One of Erethian's books in FOV identifies time gates as silver moongates. --Terilem (talk) 10:41, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Oh well. Good thing I normalized all the references w/a redirect. In any case, I think we should keep the section heading, at least, the way it is ("Time Doors"), because the "Orange Moongate" section insists on being a sub-section of the U2 gates section. I find it a little uneven to call silver moongates orange moongates.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 15:06, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
I agree that Orange as a subsection of Silver is odd, but... given the article is sectioned by moongate color, not function, wouldn't it therefore be more consistent to have separate "Silver Moongates" and "Orange Moongate" sections rather than one "Time Doors" section (e.g. we don't have an "Interspatial Moongates" section with "Red" and "Blue" subsections)? --Terilem (talk) 09:53, 19 January 2021 (UTC)

Trivia info about moongates in UW1[edit]

Can anyone tell more about the natures of the moongates in the Underworld games, beyond what's already there. The only way to interpret the description as given in the trivia for UW1 was Gate Travel (Underworld). For UW2 I was able to add colored realms.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 13:28, 26 May 2023 (MDT)
