Initial subtitle[edit]

Why are these intial subtitles in the Profession's articles? Like "The Way of the Fighter"? I'm not sure where that comes from, and it kinda breaks the general format of the wiki, insofar that articles don't usually start that way.--Sega381 15:11, August 1, 2010 (UTC)

That's intentional. When I created them in the first place, I oriented myself at the Compendium for presentation, and later I found it looks good, so I decided to stick with it for the professions.
And you have to admit, this is no disaster.--Tribun 15:20, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
It is not that it is much of a problem, I was just curious about it. Let's leave it the way they are for now, it's ok. I would appreciate, however, some comment on the edit Summary when you revert this kind of edits, just to know what was the rationale behind the reversal.--Sega381 15:26, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
For the record, I agree that those subtitles look a little out of place on the wiki, if only for the fact that they aren't really consistent with the format that gets used on all the other articles. Not a huge issue indeed, but I understand why Sega removed them. --Terilem 13:38, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
I have no problem with them, they look quite nice by themselves, but they don't necessarily jive with the rest of the wiki. Dungy 21:30, September 24, 2010 (UTC)

Description of classes[edit]

I've been rewriting the descriptions of the classes so they are no-longer verbatim rehashes of the Ultima IV lore quotes. I admit though, I've certainly been taking some liberties with the descriptions that I wouldn't normally take in other sections. Is this OK? Dungy 21:29, September 24, 2010 (UTC)

Magic and the Sir Eris connection[edit]

I wasn't able to even infer what "By Ultima IX, fighters do not appear to have as significant an issue with using magic such as Sir Eris in Valoria" means and I didn't know what to put in its place (since I don't know that relationship between fighters in U9 and magic) so I just took it out all together.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 16:17, 12 January 2024 (MST)
