The Sword of Paradise (also known as the ☥ Sword) is a weapon found only in the Nintendo-port of Ultima IV.

Taking the place of the Mystic Arms which featured in the original PC version of the game, the Sword of Paradise was a powerful artifact which lay in a special chamber within the Lycaeum, where it waited for a hero who had attained partial Avatarhood in all Eight Virtues to claim it. Should one not yet worthy of its power attempt to locate it, the staircase leading to its resting place would appear to spiral upward forever.[1]
