This article or section is about the Ultima Saga series of novels. The information within may not apply to Ultima V or other Ultima games.

Stir-the-Pot is a linear spell mentioned, but not witnessed, in Lynn Abbey's Ultima Saga. As its name implies, it likely is used to continuously stir a bowl or pot, as would be useful for cooking or cleaning.

Quote[edit]

Balthan displayed a talen for magic from the start. He taught himself the spells of linear magic: handfire, hearthfire, dust-be-gone, stir-the-pot--spells so simple they lacked proper names. But when Balthan set a waxed, knotted thread in the chicken coop and the poor birds scratched all day in sun-wise circles, Erwald sent him straight to the arcane Lyceum south of the city of Moonglow.[1]
