Sniflet is a fearful, seemingly paranoid man, who could be found cowering in the dark woods in Buccaneer’s Den’s southeastern corner during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
When asked, Sniflet would say he was hiding, and in fear for his life, because he had information that other parties were seeking. Upon hearing the Stranger’s promise to only use the information to serve the powers of good, he revealed that the lighter-than-air device that had been previously stolen now lay somewhere near the dungeon Hythloth.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Sniflet can be identified with a woman in Castle Britannia, who gives the same information.[2]
