Shivan is a small haunted child of six living in Britain in Ultima V: Lazarus.
The young daughter of Silvy the clothier was haunted by the power of the Shadowlords. Melaine, Shivan's friend, mentioned how the little girl had see the evil lords many times, and it had made her ill. The poor child, so fearful and sickly that she could barely speak, wandered the streets of Britain.[1]
The poor girl showed the Avatar a drawing she had made of Britain and the Britannys, which outlined the area that was protected from the Shadowlords. It was one of the few pictures she had made since the coming of the Shadowlords and the beginning of her haunting. She told the hero that she frequently went to Castle Britannia to escape the evil, but there was a bad man there, Saduj, who also haunted her.[2]
