Rock hammer
Normally used for splitting and breaking apart rocks, a rock hammer can also be a serviceable weapon. It appears in Ultima Underworld and Ultima Underworld II, and Savage Empire.
Description[edit]
Rock hammers can be used to break apart large boulders which may block subterranean passageways or to sunder rocks to create sling stones. Such tools were often of use to the Avatar, and were necessary for performing tasks such as the excavation of the Tomb of Praecor Loth or the retrieval of a blue stone on behalf of the shaman Topuru.[1]
In the Eodon valley, rock hammers also function as crude weapons, and deal 1-5 damage per strike. They are slightly more formidable than a typical obsidian knife (1-4 damage) but are still less efficient than a basic club (1-7 damage).
