The old village, overrun with Myrmidex

The Old Pindiro Village lies to the west of the present village of the Pindiro Tribe on Eodon.

Description[edit]

Years ago, seismic activity caused the tribe to leave the village. The next day, an earthquake struck and destroyed the ancient bridge to the village. Without it, the tribe could not reclaim the village, so they had to give up their old home and resettle further to the east.

In Savage Empire, the Avatar managed to gain access to the village by felling a big tree near the location of the former bridge with a grenade. It turned out that it was a good thing the tribe was gone, since by then the Myrmidex had created an entrance to the Myrmidex Caves there, swarming the old village.

The Avatar also found Seggallion here, who acted strangely and had (seemingly) lost his memory of the hero.

Lore[edit]

According to Queen Inara of the Pindiro, several years in the past, the Pindiro lived in a village just across a gorge. Their well-defended village could be reached only across an ancient rope bridge. When Inara was younger, seismic shocks interpreted by the shamans as “spirit-warnings” gave the Pindiro enough time to flee their village. The following earthquake killed several and destroyed the bridge. Since the Pindiro didn’t know how to rebuild it, they never could return to their home village.

In theory, nothing lives there now, but rumors persist of strange lights seen in the old village. Since I could never reach it, I couldn’t confirm or refute any of these stories.
