Moebius is the keeper of the Lycaeum and scribe to Lord British in The Ultima 6 Project.

Description[edit]

Instantly recognizing the Avatar from Woodroffe's famous painting, Moebius told the hero he had been waiting for them for some time. He admitted to being blessed and cursed with an eidetic memory, using this photographic memory to create many of the paintings based on his past travels found in the Lycaeum. The scribe felt that Lord British had an every more powerful ability to recollect, having seem the man recite entire novels verbatim after only a single reading.

Lord British had commissioned him to scribe the Compendium, a work to have described the length and breadth of Britannia for the Avatar's benefit upon returning to the land, but the Avatar had arrived sooner than expected thanks to Gargoyle trickery. The work had taken him a fortnight to complete, and much of the information had come straight from his liege, thus he hoped it had proven useful to the Avatar. He was thankful for the hero's innumerable contributions to Britannia society.

Moebius was saddened by the recent death of Woodroffe, feeling it a great loss when a man of such high artistic talent and creativity died. Himself, even though he was well versed in writing, found it difficult to go beyond the facts. He hoped to someday create his own work of fiction in the future, though.
