Menion is a trainer and a weaponsmith in Serpent's Hold during Ultima VII.
Description[edit]
Menion was a quiet man, and after becoming the castle's trainer he had become somewhat aloof from the other denizens of the keep, withdrawing from his former friend and sparring partner, Sir Pendaran. A strong and well muscled fighter, Menion tried to emphasize physical strength and accuracy in combat to his students, and worked to design and forge weapons which could withstand the rigors of his techniques.[1][2]

- Menion's real world counterpart is Ultima VII programmer, Tony Zurovec.[4]
- Anton interviewed Menion regarding the importance of strength training for his book, Key to the Black Gate.[5]
- Menion is the author of What Color is Thy Blade?, an instructional book on swordcraft. Curiously enough, this volume can also be found on the far-flung shores of Serpent Isle, despite its long separation from the lands of Britannia.[6][7]
