The Malas map was included with Ultima Online: Age of Shadows and Ultima Online: 7th Anniversary Edition.
Description[edit]
The paper map of Malas follows the same design philosophy as the Ilshenar map and shows a (mostly) photorealistic view of Malas floating in the Ethereal Void. Again, all the text is in Latin lettering instead of runic script. Of note are the symbols at the edge of the map, which this time do not show the Eight Virtues, but something else.
Other Releases of the Map[edit]
In the Japanese editions of the expansion, the paper map does have a different color balance. All the areas that in the normal maps that look snow-covered are a lush green on the Japanese map, giving Malas quite a different atmosphere.
