Lanugo is the bodyguard of Vernix, the king of the green goblins of the Abyss. He appears in Ultima Underworld.
Description[edit]
When the Avatar met him on the first level, Lanugo was quite polite for a goblin, and although he did not say it directly, he did not the best opinion of his king, saying that his mind was on "higher things". Surprisingly, he worked more as a cook than as a bodyguard, and had a specialty ready: Rotworm Stew. When the Avatar asked, Lanugo gave the recipe, which would later prove important to get the dragonskin boots.

This is the watch-post of a green goblin-thing called Lanugo. It is King Vernix's alleged guard; should you wish an interview with Vernix, speak to this creature. It responds well to trivial bribes, and has a charming enthusiasm for rotworm stew, which it knows how to prepare.
