Jerris is a fighter in Jhelom in Ultima VI.

Description

Jerris was a thin man who enjoyed drinking and fighting. Some time prior to meeting the Avatar, Jerris had become pinned beneath a great tree during one of the many earthquakes that had struck Britannia recently. Lord Zellivan had personally helped hoist the tree while a guard pulled Jerris free. So impressed by the mayor, he sought to join Zellivan's honour guard.

Jerris was knowledgeable of the goings on at the local bar, The Sword and Keg, describing the sweet mead from Verity Isle he drank. He also told the hero how Nomaan had lost the Rune of Valor to a rat which took it into its hole. Lyssandra told the Avatar that Jerris was brave while fighting, but he was too afraid to sing by himself. One of Jerris's favourite songs was about the Mantra of Valor, and would sing along while Culham played. Stelnar also spoke highly of Jerris's bravery.
