Honesty is coming from the principle of Truth and is striving to uphold truth and willingness never to deceive oneself or another.

Benefits[edit]

In Ultima Online Honesty is gained by returning lost items (they are labeled as such) on Trammel and Felucca. Returning them just to a loat-and-found gives a bonus. However, the formerly useless Forensic Evaluation skill now has a use, in that identifying the owner of said item, giving it to the lost-and-found in the correct city gives double the reward, and giving to the owner directly gives four times the reward in Honesty points. There is a time limit of three hours for that. As a reward, NPC marchants give a bonus discount once concluding a purchase - the higher the Honesty, the higher the discount.

Shrine Effects[edit]

The other effect comes from praying at the shrine, which is located on the frozen Dagger Isle, which when wearing the Ankh Pendant will grant the wearer +2 Mana Regeneration for one hour.

Trivia[edit]

  • For one reason or another, Honesty was not programmed into the game until Publish 72 in 2011. Before that it simply stated "This virtue is not defined yet". A really strange oversight to such an integral part of the lore.
