Henry is a peddler living in New Magincia. He appears in Ultima VII.
Description[edit]
Henry had been friends with Constance and her foster-mother, Katrina, since he was a child, and had deep affection for them both. While he briefly attempted to court the un-aging Katrina, his heart eventually came to belong to Constance, and the two became sweethearts. Katrina even gave him an old heirloom locket that he might court his beloved, but unfortunately the bauble was stolen before he had a chance to present it to her, leaving Constance hurt and angry.[1][2]
Around the time of the Avatar's arrival in New Magincia, Constance had become enamored with an unsavory gambler known as Robin, who, unbeknownst to her or Henry, had stolen the locket in an attempt to win her favor. Should the hero look into the matter of the lost jewelry, it would eventually be revealed that Robin had, in turn, had the locket stolen by the local barkeep, Boris, and that Boris' wife, mayor Magenta, had mistakenly taken it from his safe box, thinking the item a gift intended for her. Once the Avatar recovered the locket, it could be returned to the heartsick young merchant, who would then be able to reunite with his beloved.[3][4][5][6]

- Should Henry be present when the Avatar tells Constance of the recovery of the locket, the hero can witness the couple's reconciliation.[6]
