Gem of Dispelling
A Gem of Dispelling is an item added to Ultima VII with the Keyring Mod.

As Zauriel tells the Avatar, a Gem of Dispelling can detect strong magic by glowing bright and it is activated by breaking it, thus cancelling all magic effects in the area regardless how strong.
Zauriel saw the need for such a gem when it became apparent that the mage Laundo had shifted himself, the kidnapped Laurianna and his goons out of phase. He told the Avatar that there were two way to get such a gem: either make one from scratch, or try to get one from the hut of the dead mage Joneleth on Orney Isle. The first way meant gathering all ingredients, while the second way involved dealing with the undead Joneleth and then repairing one of his gems.
One way or another, the Avatar got the gem and used it to reveal Laundo and Laurianna.

- Six Bee Stingers
- Two Spider Eggs
