Only appearance: Ultima III

The fuzzies are a furry bipedal race, who for a brief period of time dwelt in the lands of Sosaria. Known to be nimble and highly intelligent, the fuzzies appeared only momentarily in the history of the world which would become Britannia, vanishing almost as quickly as they appeared.

Description[edit]

The fuzzy race appeared in Sosaria at around the same time that Exodus began to unleash his wrath upon the land. Smaller than dwarves and even bobbits, these tiny simian creatures compensated well for an inherent natural lack of strength, excelling at pursuits both roguish and arcane. Not much else is known about them, as no fuzzies were found in the days that followed the foundation of Britannia.

The Ultima 6 Project[edit]

This is an Ultima 6 Project-related article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima VI or other Ultima games.

In The Ultima 6 Project, a small band of fuzzies could be found living in a silverleaf forest in the Deep Forest just north of the Serpent's Spine mountains.

Trivia[edit]

  • Fuzzies are quite possibly based upon the alien race of the same name (also called Ga'shta) which featured in the H. Beam Piper's science-fiction novel Little Fuzzy and its sequels (in particular the artwork/cover for Fuzzies and Other People.
  • Fuzzies appear only in Ultima III and are not mentioned in any other installments of the Ultima series.
  • Fuzzies have some superficial similarities to emps. In particular, both races are small-size hairy humanoid, and both are proficient in magic.
