Fred is a young boy of six living in New Magincia in The Ultima 6 Project.

The grandson of William, a farmer in New Magincia, Fred could often be found playing with his older sister Evie and brother Will. Fred's mother Evelyn worked on Jimmy's merchant ship the 'Madame Pendra', and was rarely home, while his father Frederick had died five years previously.
A shy, quiet young boy, Fred was unwilling to speak with the hero, and ran away. Evie told the Avatar that sometimes William teased the young boy about being the little one, and the boy would get sad and run off. He used to hide in the cellar until William started locking it.
