Forbrak is a winged gargoyle running the Hall of Refreshment in Terfin during Ultima VII.

Description

Forbrak was well-informed as to the lives of the Terfin gargoyles, and was well aware of the societal conflicts currently diving the island. He could speak as to the friction between the Gargish traditionalists and the Fellowship and would also point out the less-immediately-visible caste tensions between the winged and wingless gargoyles of the isle. While he was not familiar with all of the exacting details of such strife, but was glad to direct the hero to Inmanilem, the healer, and In For-Lem, the trainer, for more information.

He could also speak briefly as to the character of the local Fellowship outside of its struggles with the local shrine, mentioning that one of their members, Runeb, was extremely dangerous and that his name, "Red Mist," described what would be left of his enemies once he had finished with them.

Trivia

• Forbrak translates to "Strong Arm" in Gargish.
• In the SNES-port of Ultima VII, Forbrak has a far more pessimistic view of the conflicts wracking Terfin's populace, and put forward his belief that the gargoyles upon it will never be able to coexist peacefully. If asked about the plot to destroy the pedestals, he would mention that he suspected Silamo, who had been acting strangely as of late.
