Fagles is a trainer in Britain in Ultima V: Lazarus.

Fagles readily admitted to the Avatar that in his past life he had been a thief and he had been trusted by no one, especially those who hired his services. This distrust eventually drove him to become an honest man, setting up shop in Britain and teaching the skills he learned in his past career to young adventurers, including jimmying, detecting and disarming traps, and rapid strike. He also admitted to being good friends with the quiet and short-spoken Thom, saying the two had been on previous adventures together, suggesting the Avatar ask Thom about their past escapades. He also spoke highly of Salan the bard, saying the man was pure charm, and if he had decided to choose the profession of thief, he would have been unstoppable.[1]

If claiming to be the Avatar, Fagles would be shocked by this admission, and request the hero practice better discretion. Fagles admitted that Britain was dear to his heart, and he thought Lord British a fool for adventuring to the Underworld, for he was disgusted by what Blackthorn and his Oppression had done. Fagles admitted to be working for the Resistance, and told the Avatar, if the hero mentioned the password 'DAWN', to meet him at his house before 9 o'clock in the evening. If the Avatar should meet him at the appointed time, Fagles admitted to keeping many secrets for the Resistance but had few to give out.

If asked about the former townsman Danfits who'd moved to Paws recently, Fagles told the Avatar that he knew Danfits before he'd become a businessman, saying the man used to operate as a high-priced cutpurse known as Sidles.

Fagles offered training in Detect/Disarm Traps, Jimmying, and Rapid Strike.
