Elva is a woman in Britain in Ultima IX.

Elva is the wife of Jarlath, and seemly unaffected by the columns, tried to disuade her husband from his callous attitude about his brother in need. After the Shrine of Compassion was cleansed, she commented that things were now much nicer.[1]
