Species: talorid
Appearances
Ultima Underworld II
Location: Talorus

The Dialogicians are two Talorids whose function is to create and facilitate communication amongst their people. They appear in Ultima Underworld II

Description[edit]

Due to the simplification of Talorid functioning under the Guardian, many Talorids lacked the capacity to communicate with others outside of the auspices of their tasks. The Dialogicians were therefore skupped to develop conversational phrases to distribute amongst the populace. The two of them appeared to experience something akin to human "enjoyment" from this task and seemingly derived pleasure from their constant banter with one another.

When the Avatar was asked by Futurian to work towards skupping a new Bliy Skup Ductosnore, the hero would need to consult the Dialogicians in order to learn the correct questions to ask of Data Integrator to initiate the Talorid reproductive process. They would provide the hero with a prepared scroll which contained the phrasing necessary to get the desired results.[1]

Lore[edit]

The Dialogicians assist Talorids in phrasing their communications with one another.

Trivia[edit]

  • The Dialogicians refer to the function of "Philosopher" and mention that it has been rendered obsolete.[1]
  • Should the Avatar ask the Dialogicans what they would ask themselves, they will respond with the questions "How are you so blezzed as to be Dialogician?" and "How many granulez are in freemik pulzony?" (The answer to the later question is 602.)[1]
