Cubolt is a farmer living in Moonglow during Ultima VII.

Cubolt lived and worked in the company of his brother, Tolemac, and their mutual childhood friend, Morz. At the time of the Avatar's travels in the land, however, a rift had formed among the three over Tolemac's decision to join the Fellowship – a move of which Cubolt strongly disapproved.[1]
Characterized as overprotective and domineering by his younger brother, Cubolt railed vehemently against Tolemac's participation in the group, claiming that it dehumanized its followers and contradicted the tenets of the Eight Virtues. Recognizing the Avatar upon seeing them, the farmer would plead with the legendary hero to intercede with Tolemac on his behalf, although ultimately the young man could not be dissuaded from his beliefs. However, it was possible for the Avatar to persuade Morz not to follow his friend's example.[2][3][4]

Trivia[edit]
- Should the Avatar approach Cubolt wearing a Fellowship medallion, the farmer will react with hostility, crying shame on the hero for taking membership and refusing conversation.
- Cubolt can explain the origin of Morz's stutter, which neither he nor Tolemac will speak about.[5]
