Croyel Dauphin is an sage studying at the Lycaeum in Runes of Virtue II.
The only inhabitant of the great keep of learning at this time, Croyel was intimately familiar with the Orb of the Moons which sat atop the Lycaeum. He told the hero how each of the eight moongates represented the eight cities of Britannia, and that the hero could travel there merely by walking through the appropriate gate.
