Compassion is coming from the principle of Love, and is non-judgmental empathy for one's fellow creatures. The quality of empathy, of recognizing and sharing the feelings of others..
Benefits[edit]
In Ultima Online, Compassion is gained by doing NPC escort missions and rescuing prisoners from monster camps. Rescuing gives double the reward of escorting, while only one escorting can be done at a time and only five per day. The reward is a restoration of hit points when ressucting another player; the higher the Compassion level, the better the health of the ressurected person. At highest level, the restoration is 80% of the value.
Shrine Effects[edit]
The other effect comes from praying at the shrine, which is located in the Desert of Compassion, which when wearing the Ankh Pendant will grant the wearer +2 Hit Point Regeneration for one hour.
