The character creation theme of Ultima VI adapts a 1987 Todd Porter composition, "I Hear You Crying," and is heard during the game's character creation process. The music is—for having been used only in this fleeting sequence—a memorable, pensive tune that has since become associated with character creation in general for the Ultima series, despite never making another official appearance.
